Statek pod Strání is located in Pustá Kamenice – the Village of the Year 2018 in the Pardubice Region. This picturesque village lies in the green heart of the Czech Republic, within the Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area.

The Žďárské vrchy Protected Landscape Area is truly one of the last untouched oases of peaceful and pristine nature in the heart of the Czech Republic. The landscape is crisscrossed by hundreds of kilometres of hiking and cycling trails and also offers excellent conditions for winter tourism. Thanks to accommodation at our farmstead, you can fully explore the beauty of the Žďárské vrchy.

Peklo Čertovina near Hlinsko is a world-unique attraction with no equivalent in Europe or anywhere else in the world. This exceptional structure reaches up to 12 meters underground and includes hundreds of meters of corridors and caves. Embark on an original trip that the whole family will enjoy! The varied programs are guided by actors – devils. The tour also includes a theatrical performance. Inside the building you will find a restaurant, Lucifer's den, a souvenir shop, a game room, a wine bar, and in summer also a children's playground with bouncy attractions.

Budislavské Rocks form an impressive rock city and are part of a nature reserve in the Toulovcovy Maštale microregion. A system of narrow ravines creates a hidden rock town with intriguingly named corridors, caves, and openings. There are many recommended cycling and hiking trails as well as educational paths of varying difficulty – suitable for adults, families with children, and even strollers.

Devět skal (Nine Rocks)

Distance from the farmhouse: 20 km
Devět skal Nature Monument is the highest peak of the Žďárské vrchy and the second highest peak of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands. You can reach Devět skal via the blue trail from Herálec or Křižánky, or via the yellow trail from Fryšava pod Žákovou horou or from Svratka. You can also drive to the parking area below Lisovská skála and continue about 1.5 km on foot along the yellow hiking trail. Most of the route follows forest paths, but some sections climb rocky trails that are not suitable for strollers.

Zkamenělý zámek (Petrified Castle)

Nature monument Zkamenělý zámek is a massive rock formation. In its picturesque surroundings you will find small natural caves created by the shifting of rock blocks, which are especially enjoyed by young children. In the 13th century, a wooden castle likely stood here.

Pasecká Skála is a summit rock formation in the Žďárské vrchy, popular with hikers for its far-reaching views and easy access. It consists of three rock formations – Omšelý hřeben, Vyhlídka, and Pernštejn. With parental assistance, children from about five years old can climb to the viewpoint.

Ski areál Svratka features a 400-meter downhill slope with a lift. For the youngest children, a rope lift is available. The slope has night lighting for evening skiing, and snow quality is supported by artificial snowmaking. The slope is suitable for children and beginners.
